SK One Residence is a mixed development offering 429 apartment units, with retail lots at ground level. This arrangement conveniently addresses its immediate context of shoplots of a town centre, and to achieve reactive street frontages with existing adjacent activities. The site’s orientation was also convenient to arrange the two residential blocks above to face north and south, while minimising solar gain for the comfort of the dwellings. The project’s objective was to introduce a more contemporary addition to the existing commercial centre.
